Compulsive questioners on here

Why do a few feel the need to ask trivial or banal questions ad nauseum?

What am I missing? I don't see the point for posting a question just for postings sake

Its just fun. To just say whatever is on your mind & watch the responses come in.
SW-User
You aren't missing anything. I too, wonder the same.

A lot of people use QnA for socialising.

If everyone only posted when they had something meaningful to say, this place would be a ghost town.
Annab · 61-69, T
@SW-User people would respond to the questions asked and a proper discussion could be had

😂 @SW-User
To be fair, I generally ask only once every so often, but I'm trying to get someone *Cough* @Stark *Cough* A certain gift
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Well, maybe some folk like a 'virtual' conversation.
Annab · 61-69, T
@Picklebobble2 the type I'm thinking of don't command any type of conversation
Invisible · 26-30, M
@Invisible I do it out of boredom.
Invisible · 26-30, M
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays If you didn't get attention, you wouldn't do it out of boredom
I'm usually bored or I think of questions I genuinely want answers to from random people 😮 This site is mainly for posting questions/stores and experiences though...that's what majority of what the site is made for.
@Annab I understand, I'll reply if I have something to say, and sometimes I'll heart it, but if I don't have anything to say I don't reply
Annab · 61-69, T
@SailorMarz hahaha
Annab · 61-69, T
@Stark Yea I totally get that. It's more my interpretation of some questions that Make me think... wtf why bother?

Their brain is still in the caveman era or dark ages. They haven't evolved
Bean17 · 46-50, F
To earn SW coins so they can send gifts.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Levels upon levels of irony there.
5thApprentice · 31-35, M
@uncalled4 😂😂
Annab · 61-69, T
@uncalled4 you must be American cos you obviously don't understand irony
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Annab Um, complaining about asking questions by asking questions may not be a textbook definition; however, that has zero to do with where I come from. :)

*ad nauseam
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
Ya get bored think of stuff and want to know what others think on it, passes the time
Annab · 61-69, T
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Well that's the main purpose of this place from what I gather. Questions like yours seem exactly what this place is about. Things I'm talking about is like how tall are you?, would you do this guy?, that guy?, every feking guy you might have heard of! (maybe unfair on that particular poster as he isn't the worst on here by any stretch)
Lazarus posting yet another joke from some website at least the Indian kid makes them up even if they are shite
I could go on....
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
@Annab Plain and simple it stems from boredom. It isn't some complex confusing situation. They just write what pops in their head cause they are not doing anything else of interest. Ignoring the nonsense is easy ya just scroll scroll scroll. Look for what interests you and forget the rest.
Annab · 61-69, T
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit yea that's what I do. I was asking a genuine question - I don't understand what they 'get' out of doing it
