Do you like giving ppl the "Benefit of the doubt"

Yes....I’m a retired attorney. The justice system (at least in the U.S.) considers someone “innocent until proven guilty” (though the “proof” standard differs in criminal court as opposed to civil court, the basic premise is that you give someone the benefit of the doubt).
You don’t necessarily have to trust someone to give them the benefit of the doubt, just give them enough leeway not to assume they are wrong/guilty without proof.
@DragonFruit Well put. Blind trust and assumption of guilt are very different things to be sure. 👍
Depends on the situation and the person. Not sure I can generalize that one.
