I love this memorial...
sogdianrock · 61-69, M
hi vetguy1991
No disrespect intended but is hard to remember exactly what happened as it so weird. I mean like the third building collapsing.

A survey in U.S. magazine Live Science last year revealed that most Americans (53 per cent) believe the U.S. Government has concealed — and continues to conceal — vital information about the 9/11 attacks. Crucially, a team of engineers at the University of Alaska concluded this week, after two years of forensic research, that fire could not have caused the collapse of WTC7.
Indeed, though the official story is that WTC7 was weakened by fires caused by debris from the attack, it’s the only steel skyscraper in the world ever to collapse purely as a result of a blaze.

I mean sure something bad occurred bur how can you remember what?
best wishes
:)

@sogdianrock Check out at what temperature steel melts.
sogdianrock · 61-69, M
hi wickey ·
I do not think it is necessary for steel to melt to explain the collapse of World Trade Centre 7. Steel girders deform and the structure lost integrity. It was an odd building with structural weakness built into it due to straddling a sub station.
Still it is odd.
Best wishes
:)

I remember it vividly, as I'm sure most people do.
I will never forget. I lived in Boston when this happened. I remember when Bush ordered all planes to stay on ground. The sky was so empty. I drove home every night after work to a dark sky. Weirdest thing ever. People were so much nicer to each other at that time too.
The most refreshing sight was seeing the sky flickering with planes again.
When I did volunteer at the sight once we were cleared, I remember a part of the what was standing from the trade center, and it had a message from a girl that said:
On 9-11, we lost more than 2,000 people. Heaven gained 2,000 people and my uncle that was an angel.

Saddest thing ever.

Everyone was hugging and crying, and slowly cleaning up.

I'll never forget 9-11.
@DefiantHeart Thanks for BA!!!

I remember it clearly. I was in college with a friend that has family there. His brother was on top of a hospital building where he worked taking pictures of it. Later when he went back to NY he brought me a newspaper with the story and pictures of it all. 😢I still have it.
BexEyes · 46-50, F
I was pregnant and grieving the loss of a close friend. Had to travel (drive) to his funeral. I was still sleeping and my husband woke me to tell me, and we saw the second plane hit. I just kept thinking that I wish he would have let me sleep through it. 😞

School was cancelled that day suddenly. When I got home, I remember staring in disbelief at what was happening, live on TV, and thinking "This can't be real".
Jo1892 · 41-45, F

Fauxmyope2 · 26-30, F
I was only four. I think that I remember it but I am not sure if it is just because of what I have heard and seen about it.
wickey · 70-79, M
Well let me think about it, oh why not, that is the day George Bush went to school and was short of hearing.
I was in college. In fact I didn't know until about a few hours after it had happened. :(

True power comes from the sons that can be the next anti christ or they can be truly good it's up to us a people to show them the world can change we can all change don't let them down they are only children at the moment and good ones I don't won't them too see the world of war and hate they will have money power to end the world if they see us for what we are.
