Do you think Ireland will ever be reunited both the North(Ulster) and the Republic?

Someday. And North and South Korea. But not the United States and Texas.

I think possibly, though not in the near future. There is increasing talk in republican circles of a border poll, but it's extremely unlikely this would result in a vote for unification at the moment. This may well change when the UK leaves the EU, depending how the border issue is resolved and how the economy on both sides develops.

Unlikely.
Ireland is a weird mix of some wanting a future but some not wanting to let go of the past.

@Picklebobble2 Well I guess the old system of tribalism is still there, lol!
@Picklebobble2 The thing is the past is carried forward to the future and some people like the people who are in the orange order educate their children to hate Catholics. Ian Paisley was a man full of hate.
Its not a topic to discuss in Scotland as it always causes trouble. My family are a mix of both protestant and catholic but mainly catholic. Protestants married into the family.

@Cutiepi23 I just think it eternally condemns the next generation to more of the same. Most nations want BETTER for the next.

Oh probably. The world is reshaping itself and borders will change again and again. Nothing is permanent.

It is possible long term because the Republican population is very slowly catching up with the loyalist population.

I think the Good Friday agreement is excellent and I think it is great that both communities have been power sharing for the last few years. Terrorist violence has disappeared. Unfortunately, Brexit has increased tensions and I worry about what could happen next.

It won't be by the ballot box there are roughly 50% for and 50% against in Northern Ireland all because of "Religion" personally I believe in one God.
irishwonder1973 · 51-55, M
@senghenydd Many Irish were kicked out in the name of religion.
irishwonder1973 · 51-55, M
@senghenydd I personally believe in The Holy Trinity. One God,three parts of God.

@irishwonder1973 If we could have one religion one God it would solve things Ireland was spoilt centuries ago by settlers to Ireland maybe the rest of Great Britain will be spoilt in the future by settlers I hope not.
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
No. Tribalism on the part of the Protestants.
irishwonder1973 · 51-55, M
@irishwonder1973 Im Irish-Cathoilc.
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
@irishwonder1973 : Ditto. Well half Irish but all Catholic.
irishwonder1973 · 51-55, M
@luckranger71 King Henry VIII founded a religion based on adultery if you think about it.
Eventually but not any time soon.United for sports such as Rugby Cricket, Hurling and Gaelic football of course.
Not in my life time, I don't see it happening at all really. But never say never.
