What do you do to make it up to someone when you know you messed up big time ?

2. Verbal apology
3. The making of amends; this depends on the wrong: If you broke their lamp, buy them another. If you broke their heart, refrain from doing so in the future, etc. [/c]

The first thing you need to do is apologize quickly and sincerely…..that will do more to heal than any other thing you can do (just letting the person know that you didn’t want to hurt them is a better “gift” than any other kind of gesture).

I've been thinking about that as well. My apologies doesn't work anymore, and he probably hates me to the core.
