no idea, i don't approach anyone firstly unless it's at work lol.
men make me all goofy and nervous in general when meeting them so i'm less likely to just start talking to them if i find them intimidating in some way...unless im boozed up

Ask them about random things and listen. Ask things about what they say from there and listen.
