Is this acceptable for a Christian woman to love men women and husbands and wives with a deep love

Is it okay if I wanted to show natural human affection to men women and children husbands and wives? Like a hand on your shoulder, like holding your hand when you cry, like kiss you on the forehead or cheek. To rub your back, to sit a little closer to you, and lean on you, to admire your beauty or handsomeness. To hug you a little longer than just a distant hug, but a real deep and meaningful hug, a wholesome hug, to love you deeply without a hint of lust......

While I hold my husband after he comes home from work everyday, while I kiss him passionately and tenderly, while I gaze into his eyes, while I speak softly and tenderly to him, and more intimate things to him alone, to love him deeply and passionately?

Does this appear Christianly enough, or do I appear as a flirt?

I think it would depend upon the person you are with. If they know you, and understand where you are coming from, then there would be no issue. However, if it is someone that doesn't know you well, then they may think you are coming on to them, and that you are flirting.

@minarth008: Yes these are good answers, what is acceptable to a dear friend may not be acceptable with a total stranger....And yes they would definately need to know where I am coming from......And it would depend on if they are open to that as well or not.

@saintchantal: Yes, that is it exactly. There is much lust in the world today, and there are those that may perceive your actions as that, if they don't know you. As you mentioned as well, there are those that don't like to be touched in any way, so it is best to be careful. Not only do they need to get to know you, you need to get to know them as well.

@icyreb: It encourages natual human affection, and deeper love, brotherly love, romantic love between husband and wife.

@saintchantal: where does it say that?
saintsong · 41-45, F
@icyreb: I looked but I couldn't find the scriptures that I was looking for, but it does encourage us if we love, to love deeper, and it does say that in the end times people will be without natural human affection, it's all over the bible

This is hard to answer. But I wish the world can be like this
... unlimited love free of lust.
