Ladies - a question about rings

Maybe I'm getting old, but this used to be easy to figure out:

1. A large jeweled ring on her left ring finger meant she's married
2. A smaller but substantial ring on her left ring finger meant she's engaged
3. No ring on her finger meant she's available

So what does a really, really, really thin ring on her left ring finger mean? (no other rings on any other fingers)

[c=#7700B2]maybe she is wearing a ring to stop guys trying to get in her pants[/c]

@PlumBerries: This is my reason for wearing a ring in my left ring finger.

@PlumBerries: That's what I was thinking, too.

I wear rings on multiple fingers because they look cool. I'm not married, not engaged, not dating, and really, really not available.

@BlueMetalChick: Yeah, I see that often. But only one tiny ring on that one finger is confusing. It if looked like an engagement ring I'd understand, but this looks more like it was made from a paper clip!

You may just be reading too much into it?!😮💍

@Peaches: Maybe... I was just curious because she was flirting with me and not in any hurry to stop, while I was trying not to consume her time at her job. (Though I'd love to chat with her outside her work).

The ring would be a great opportunity for you to talk with her a little more. Tell her that you find it interesting. Ask her about it....hopefully it will answer your question and open up a discussion for you to ask her to go for coffee or dinner or drinks later.
It might just be a matter of choice for her. I have some tiny rings that fit the left so I use them on the left.

I wear one on that finger for this very reason
