Possibly my female friends and maybe one or two male ones. If I ever did it would be in a public well lit place and I would drive my own car and have 911 on speed dial...I am a bit paranoid. However, how well do you know the people you meet the first or even for a third time in real life? I would not meet up with anyone I had not interacted with for years online or for sex that is craziness.

Yes, after we have either FaceTimed or Skyped, so we've both seen each other in real-time.

Yes but only after doing background checks and letting someone know exactly where I am going and who with...then I'd have them call me after 20 minutes of meeting the person to see if all was ok...I would be careful as possible.
