How do some people pick up an attractive partner?

I know most people want an attractive but not everybody wants to date an attractive person. Some people prefer average or chubby people. Most people would probably want to jump an attractive persons bones. Some people say how lucky someone is or how hot their partner is.
Looks should not matter.

I think you miss the point everyone wants to date attractive persons the only difference is what is attractive in their mind. You say "average or chubby" but those are your definitions for some people that's where "attractive" is and your atractive might be "eerily skinny" or "too unusual looking" for them to perceive as attractive partners.
