What do you think of people who refer to their partner as the girlfriend, the wife, or the mrs?

Girlfriend. I hate the word partner. And also women that refer to their husbands as "hubbys"

What about significant other? It seems like it's a relation of convenience somehow. They're in your life but they're not at the same time...? What's with the distance of it, ya know? Or maybe I'm reading too much into it. No surprises there, lol.

I refer to mine as my wife and she refers to me as her husband.....just tradition that hasn't died yet

I don't really have an opinion on those, not the worst things I've heard.
