Are you afraid to love?

Life itself isn't easy. Sure love has a smoother trajectory when those involved are more selfless than not. Overall, the reality is if something is worth keeping near and dear, then it's worth the struggle and effort.

@ForNever: Yet they say Love is by its very notion a selfish emotion. In the end perhaps the only person who can ever truly love us is ourselves.

It can be selfish but (the purest romantic form of love is defined as a selfless emotion). Where ego and pride fall into the background and the one who has attained such adoration of love becomes important (so much that one would sacrifice much to help them or see them joyous).
