His grandfather passed away 2 weeks ago :(

We haven't talked in a couple of days but I do know that he has lost his grandfather and he missed a week of work because of it so he should catch up. What do you think people? Guys( gentlemen :p), what would you do if the same happened to you?

Bereavement can last for months or even years, be patient and offer plenty of cuddles and support without judgement... But if he needs space give it to him, he will come back when he is ready

For a grandfather I wouldn't take time off personally, but everyone is different and I don't think there is only one right way to react.

@Misspotat: yes. give the boy his space and time. if you try and fix it for him he will run. just be patient. and he will text or call you when hes ready. i mean he just lost his grandfather for petes sake. it take more than a week.
