How can you tell the difference between a connection and attraction after the first meeting?

Appreciate it, but I'm not asking for a definition :/ I'm wondering how you know the feeling is mutual??

@wanderlinglilacs22: lol well if you feel anything within the definition that tells you and you never asked about how do you know if its mutual. you can never really know how one feels unless you talk and see if their action match what they say. you just experience, learn and hope.

True, but you could say the same to anybody that could be a new close friend :)

@wanderlinglilacs22: feelings for friends is different from feelings of someone you want to be more than friends. do you want to kiss your guy friends. if yes is it more of a i want kiss this guy cuz hes sexy or cuz he makes me smile he says and does things that makes me not only want to kiss him but i want to know more about him. why most friend stay just friends cuz they dont want to go deeper.

@Datdudeblack: Oh, I'm more than aware of that! But I'm trying to gauge the other person, as it's hard to read someone you don't know well yet....

well then know them better to better gauge. how can you be asking this if you dont know the person enough?

lol the first meeting you assume its attraction. after this as more effort is put into knowing one another then you slowly assume its more of a connection.

@Datdudeblack: Attraction is a given; I know, sometimes, it's not mutual....just like any spectrum of 'love' however superficial or deep. I know how I feel; I just wish I knew how the other person felt. It's a good thing, we're not all mind readers haha! :)

i know, all im saying is worry about you and you will know. you will never truly know by signs. you just go about it naturally and from that you will get it thru his actions. if there was some big sign that we all give when we are interested we all would be in lasting relationships. he can hide his feelings, he can be faking his feelings, you probably wont know until he shows you his true intentions.
