My VERY first day living in San Francisco, when I was about 21, I was on the train and pulled up to Castro station which, at the time, was almost entirely gay. A totally new world for me. Two guys got on and stood next to me. Within about 10 seconds I started feeling their hands. I backed them off but thought this must be a regular occurrence in the city. Never happened again.
