I am a Hopeless Romantic
I'm in love with the thought of love.
I often think about falling in love with people from different walks of life and how that might change my life.
I have fallen in love with people from different walks of life and it did change my life.
I have fallen in love with a criminal, a foreigner, a man twice my age, a man who smokes and drinks and curses, a man I have never met.
What changed? I learned to judge people less. I learned some of my likes and dislikes. I learned I have a tendency to be a doormat for the people I'm head over heels in love with. I learned that it is very unhealthy to be a doormat.
But most importantly I learned that I'm better off alone in most cases.
