How soon after your love heartbreak, do you jump back into another?

SW-User
Not happening. I will love him always. I can't give my love to anyone else, because no one will ever compare to him. 💔

@SW-User Love that, not enough love like anymore.

As long as it takes for me to get over the heartbreak and then for someone else to steal my heart.
There is never a formulated time for these things.

@BetweenKittensandRiots I'm listening to this song. Beautiful lyrics, mellow tone. Love it. Thank you for sharing.
@SW-User To tell you the gods honest truth I am a poet so if heartbroken will reach out. https://allpoetry.com/poem/9289575-screaming-at-stars-by-Kythra

it's just that often no ones listening.

I am relieved in a sense, where my friends used drugs to cope I learned to write and give words to sentiments that few knew how to express.

@BetweenKittensandRiots This brings me joy to hear. ❤️
Were it possible to soothe what love has burned with love I would not wait however practical experience has taught me that since the opposite sex pretty much wants to believe they are your one and only and you won't be able to hide the pain for them it ends up forced down your unwilling throat anyways so IDK? Years?

None of them want to hear about your ex and theres really no way to avoid the topic. [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4-xdLGNPYc]

Why wait except that the real world basically forces you to?

Whenever it feels right tbh. May be quick, may take a number of years.

P.S. Question almost doesn't make sense bot, are you drunk?!

It took me 3 years to move on, so.... 😯

Depends. Two years ago I ended up in an 18 month relationship 9 months after the previous break up. Wasn’t looking or thought I was ready but it happened.
But after recently breaking up with her, I have no heart left to love again.

I don't have a set time. I get over it when I do and let another in when it feels right. Till then, I just move ahead as best I can. I don't wallow in it, but I don't sprint to the next relationship either.

I have been single 14 years, and last dated 7 years ago. The lady broke my heart like my ex-wife did, and in turn it broke my will to be played a fool again.
Have never had that experience...
