Is it normal for a woman to not want kids so she can focus on her career?

My girlfriend doesn't want kids so she can focus on becoming a lawyer and making a career out of it. She desires to be a career driven woman and believes that having kids will just be a distraction for her that she doesn't want.

very normal, but if you're a teen as your profile suggests, it seems likely enough that she'll change her mind or you'll change yours anyway. so it likely matters very little

@JimFarris16 No offense, but I actually kinda think not caring is weird given how big a commitment children are and the way they'll consume your entire life. But if you love her that much and you are happy either way, it sounds like there's no problem. ❤️ Just if you haven't already, make sure you know all about safe sex so there's nothing unexpected. 🤗
