Rather than concentrate on his known flaw and what he may or may not do, let's concentrate on you and your feelings,
Do you genuinely believe that you can handle the worry of whether he'll do it again?
There will be many many times when you remember how you felt when you found out, there will be films you're watching that bring those feelings back,there will be things he says that bring them back and he will occasionally express disgust at people in real life and on tv because they're cheating and you will be thinking "so you knew it was wrong and how much you were going to hurt me yet still did it"
I've no idea how long these feelings last but they are a common thing on your side of the fence, along with many more.
There is also another destructive trait that frequently occurs, him frequently accusing you of cheating! This is seated in a fear that you are cheating to get your own back.
