How does anger management works for you?

The more I do things to avoid fighting, the more I get mad. I can endure 2 hours max but someone can suck the whole night till dawn..run out of anger management lol not my fault at all. Maybe breaking up is also anger management too. 馃ぃ馃ぃ

I had to go to anger managment classes when i was younger, the fist girl leading it was totally beyond useless but the other lady was actually helpful and knew what she was doing. Overall its good to manage ones emotions and acts but not all Dr are the same (tho maybe the first girl was just a student and not a dr idk but she was a waste of time)
I HATE to argue. It always reminds me of my parents and how they argued seemingly every day of my youth, until finally deciding to divorce after my youngest sibling left the nest.... way too late if you ask me....

I told my spouse the story of my dysfunctional upbringing before we married, and told her of my aversion to arguing. So after 30+ years together, I can say that I can count the number of arguments we have had on one hand. We still disagree, we just don't argue about it... we tend to compromise more often.... I give a little, she gives a little.

And I usually ask myself one simple question.....
"Will this be important to me tomorrow?"

Breaking up (walking away)...is something I used to do when I was much younger and before I met someone who could "give a little..take a little."

I think looking at this can be a good starting point, especially if it means acknowledging problems. Some of them may be deeper and need more work than just basic anger management techniques, I think.

@PhilDeep Most of it I believe so is useless to talk about. I'm a type of person who doesn't like to make it worst.
