Nope. A lot of my friends [i]know[/i] my first name, but they know not to use it on the public boards.

Theres 10 people in all thr time ive been here ive shared my real name with. A few of those are no longer here. One did use my name publically once. We had a disagreement and he blocked me. He then unblocked me sent me a message telling me off like a naughty school kid....so i blocked him.
Next minute a username i didnt know started calling me a lair on an unrelated post...calling me by my real name. It was clear it was him on an alt. account. I reported and i was lucky admin acted imediately and warned him and were able to stop him contacting me again.
Was sad and shocking as we had been friends and i thought i could trust him.

In private message yes. I don’t think it’s cool to use first names on the boards strictly out of respect and privacy.

Not that I can think of, which is good because my name sounds so much uglier in English 😭

I ask them to call me Qwerty on posts. At first it was for anonymity, but now it's just that these posts aren't really a representation of who I am. In a way, it is Qwerty14 posting and not Steven Jacobs... Shit just told you my name... Fuck where's the edit button?

no, no one here knows me personally and I don't think anyone knows my name. I think maybe "Imraileythedog" knows my name but we rarely speak.

Yes, nearly everyone does, but my real life first name is in my username, so that's inevitable.
