What was the best Christmas present u ever got as a kid ? 🤔 🎁✨

I don’t recall any best toys. My best “gift” memory is my dad walking in the door on Christmas Eve after being deployed for 18 months.

I had an electric train set and looking back it was really basic, but I was so excited I remember the unveiling to this day. It wasn't wrapped up but hidden behind some curtains where my dad had set it up. I unwrapped other stuff expecting it at each exposure of a gift. Disappointment. Then...'Go and pull the curtains back, Frank, it's a bit dark in here.' JOY!

I always wanted a train set.. never got one! I know I had a bicycle one year.. I loved that bike and looked after it really well. Aside from that Christmas wasn't really a good time in my house /

A Mustang pedal car! Looked like a mini edition of the real car.

I was six years old and I got something like this, though I'm sure it had more cars and track than this.

I remember being thrilled getting Trivial Pursuit when it was so popular my parents said it would be available. Yeah, I was a nerd.

I didn't get presents as a kid. They cut into my dad's drinking money.

Oh yes. Back in 1988 I think I received a toy called the Armatron. It was from Radio Shack. 🙂
