Have you ever seen relationship hypocrites?

Who were oh so in love and claimed themselves to be the dream couple, but then quit after a year or two?

It's not really hypocritical when people don't recognize that their feelings may change towards a person over time. The act of falling in love and loving someone long term are completely different. The first is steered by hormones. The second is steered by logic, friendship, and recognizing compatibility. For some, love deepens over time. For others, after the passion fades away, there's really nothing to hold onto.

Yeah, but I see that as more being love drunk... more than hypocrites.

They're just so drunk with the idea of love, that they can't see reality.

My friend went through it, I moved to a different state, but he was engaged. Our mutual friend was telling me how horrible it was, when I went back to visit, I saw how horrible, as we were making jokes (nothing about her or women), and she felt insecure and came over yelling at him, and then literally started smacking him around, both hard and literally.

He was like a big brother to me, I was about to step in when she stopped and left.

I did everything in my power, except smack him around to talk him out if it...

But clearly, he expressed everyone has been trying to talk him out of it. But he's in love and nothing was gonna stop him.

He got married, lasted less than 6 months... I was happy he got out of that relationship.

I think hypocrite is a harsh word. Everybody wants to fall in love and have it workout. Sometimes it just doesn’t.

Constantly.
