Not in the real world. I've had several online/phone confidantes over the years, but never complete confidantes. To keep a friend comfortable, something always needs to be filtered out of conversations. And this varies with each person. What I confide to one friend, I may not confide to another, since it conflicts with their specific comfort zone or they are just not interested. Bottom line is that I show different sides of myself to different friends, when I have them. It would be nice to have one all inclusive confidante, that I can tell everything to, but I've never had that.

Nope. Its a nice idea. I stick to online, anonymous and less chance of people using it against you.

Do you have a dog or another type of pet? They're the best for that sort of thing.
