I think it’s better to allow yourself to love as deeply as you want, just while making sure you don’t expect others to love the same way you do.

I can't agree. I want to experience as deep of [i]unconditional[/i] love as I can. Making sure other people love with the same depth as I, makes it conditional. Unconditional love is a gift. Conditional love is a trade agreement and not only has NOTHING to do with love, but will keep you from finding it.
