How easy would this be?

My boyfriend has been self isolating with his 19 yr old son, my 9 year old and obviously myself. We have had an amazing time and it's really made us very close.
He lives 3 hours away, works in that area and bought a house recently over there. How hard would it be to sell the house and change jobs during this time?

It really depends upon where you live and what you do for a living. If homes in your area, along with your job skills, are in high demand, it shouldn't be an issue to move.

@SW-User Hound behaving I hope?!

@Jenni855 Well, if you all want to stay together then it's a no brainer IMO. Get your resume updated and see what's out there. I can tell you that where I live, there's still a high demand for housing. Start fixing things up in the home if it requires it, and contact a few realtors in your area for an analysis as to what the house is worth & how quickly it might sell. If the market isn't great where you are, you can always consider renting it out until chances of selling it at the price point you want improves.

@Harriet03 lol, he's a jerk but he's happy I'm home all the time. It's going to be difficult when my schedule changes again.

probably would be easy to find a high risk job right now. i guess it depends on what he does.. i dont think the housing market is great right now though.

@Penny He works in governance management. What is a high risk job? He is more office based.
