Could you be friends with this person?

Nikki was friends with my boyfriend and his soon to be ex wife (Heather). She is still friends with Heather and my boyfriend but sees them individually.
I am now also friends with Nikki. Both me and my boyfriend hate Heather. Is it weird that we can still be friends with Nikki knowing she is still close to Heather?

So long as that friendship isn’t bringing you and your boyfriend problems, I wouldn’t mind it.

My mom mentioned that it must be a little weird as she is close with Heather as well. Got me thinking is all.

A person doesn't behave with everyone in similar way. Some people don't behave naturally with all.
