When someone snaps at you at work...

Do you get into an exchange with them, or just say nothing, remove yourself from the situation and let them be grumpy alone?

I chose the latter. 馃え

Was walking my dog earlier and someone came out of their house screeching at me "Stop that! Don't let your dog shit on my lawn". We were just walking, no shitting going on, so I waved at him and kept walking.

@curiosi Blimey, you are lucky they didn't shoot you for violating their property rights.

I used to get right in it with anyone who pulled an attitude on me.

I almost punched someone, I had two people fired, and I got into a huge argument with my supervisor. I quit, they fired him, and asked me to come back.馃ぃ
I'd have to say a non reaction isn't part of my social vocabulary.馃き

If they snap at you it indicates a lack of respect. It depends on how much of a threat it presents to my personal boundary definition.

They are snapping because of stress. I let them cool off and they eventually soften.

@purplepen That's exactly what happened. Later on, he said 'Clearly I've upset you, and I didn't mean to..", and he apologized.
