What are your thoughts on a person that easily forgives after a hug?

So, my bff little sister just broke up with a girl that was just using her, and she was warned that that's the kind of guy he his. And she was crying when he said he doesn't want to be with her and he found someone new. He told her it will be ok and gave her a hug. She says she always feel better after a hug.
