Why does my male friend keep telling me to stop liking guys?

I am bisexual, I have female crushies and one male crush. Then this particular male friend keeps teasing me that I should stop liking the guy crush. He told me to just stick to girls instead because "it's so gay" of me (his words) to like guys.
