Please Help??? Lol

I have been hanging out with this guy for a few times and he tells me he likes hanging and we have really great conversations but I always just feel like he is not present like his mind is somewhere else and I asked him that yesterday and he said he was sorry he has been stressed with things/depressed. He told me he would really like to hang out again he said but this not being in the present moment affects me and it makes me feel like he is not really into me even though he says he likes hanging out. Any advice guys?? Is he maybe not really into me but just likes my company?
