Is there any problem

Is there any problem for someone to be single for long. I have been single for 4 years and now my mother is always worried telling me to go out get a man. I was hurt and I do not what to be in the same situation. Every time I get misunderstandings with my mom she talks about my single life.. Now everything sucks at home. Or is it OK to get photos online and lie that I have a man who is overseas. I think working is better than to be lied to and cheated on.

Much better to be single and wish you were married than to be married and wish you were single

It's her way of saying that life has stagnated and that it's not evolving and that its stuck in the same place.. She wants some activity and responsibility which can only come through you .. She can't beget children but want children through you ..

Life gets boring even when there are no worries.. so she wants worries and activities.. you lying would not help as she may ask you to bring him home..

It depends on how long i guess. Not having a relationship forever will affect most people emotionally, yet having a bad relationship will be even worse. It's better to have no relationship than a bad one, but then getting old.. ie my age and older with no one or no kids isn't great either. My advice is don't rush into anything, but don't miss out either.

I'm truly sorry I do not have any good advice for you. I receive advice that I receive is to me not good at all is to just find someone to ....
The other advice is quite good, it is the answer. I have not been able to do it or maybe i have? But I choose to be the way I am. The advice is to get over and accept that relationship. Realize that happens to alot of other people it's not the end of the world and don't let it ruin your life, don't let it control you. Only you can control you and the way you are. What I have been doing lately is trying to become wiser and have better understanding by reading Proverbs and Ecclesiastes and Song Of Solomon all of them written by King Solomon who was the wisest man that there ever will be. According to God.

Nah it's fine, I've been purposefully single for 4 years. She's probably worried because it's harder for women to date later on/if you want kids there's a clock.

Singledom isn't great but nothing more great than enjoying it.

It has pros and cons.... But no real problems

I have the same problem but i but different circumstances. I don't even try. I figure if it is really meant for me to be with another person it will happen. i guess I think that way because I got out of a 22 year marriage that to me the way it ended was shocking.

@ironmanrelationship sucks. En people disappoint in every way. I fear to be in a relationship

I think knowing thyself and seeking to know who we are is key to navigating this world. If someone comes along that matches your vibration, great! If not, you've lost nothing and gained who you are as a person. 😌
