How do you deal with someone who says they're ready for a relationship but you can tell they're not over their ex?

VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]I don’t want to be the negative nelly, but maybe they’re trying to get over their ex by getting under someone else. Just because they’re not over their ex doesn’t mean they aren’t making a concerted effort to move on [/c]

Leave them alone

@Awfullybrave I agree. And whatever you do, do not get into an argument about about whether or not they're over him/her. Disappear before that discussion gets going.
@greenmountaingal True that :)

If they're not over their ex, how could they possibly be ready for another relationship.
They obviously dont know themselves and are immature
@SStarfish I don't think it's immature, but I agree with the first part
@BeefySenpie if they were mature they would be more understanding and less greedy regarding their relations to people

Don't commit and be honest about the issue about the ex

Don't get involved. Some people never get over their ex.
