To those who gave up their career for love, was it worth it?

worked to put him through law school. now 20 years later he doesn't want to be married anymore. I can't just go back 20 yrs and resume what I was doing. everything is a risk and looking back it is a huge loss on my part

I have both , so does he . That’s who we are . We just never contemplated doing anything other than that
