First date outfit

So I have arranged to meet up with someone for the first time on Wednesday 馃槺
We have messaged and spoke on the phone before.
How much of an effort do I make? lol

I always do my hair and make up mainly the same but not sure if I should dress myself up a bit or save that for the 2nd or 3rd, and just be a bit more casual first.

I mean a good impression is important but depends on the location of the date and what he will be wearing. If we are going somewhere casual and I wear jeans and nice shirt and you are ready for a wedding, I might feel weird cause I underdressed!

@Busybee333 Thank you! I sort of feel like this is not a 'date' date, really. It's like a pre-date to check we can actually hold a conversation in person and then we'll do something I dress up more for. I think it will be jeans and a t-shirt (but a nice one)!

Go casual on the first date unless he plans to take you somewhere expensive. Be careful, not because you're a woman, it's simply a common sense precaution hon.

I think casual is always good at first..see how you guys get on and what kind of chemistry you have and if it's all good by date 3 you go for the knockout xD

When I was dating I always kept it pretty casual for the first meet. Stepped it up a little for the next few dates.
