What are your thoughts on someone responding poorly after you gently turn him or her down for a relationship?

When I reject people I usually don’t care about what they say afterwards. Chances are those other prospects don’t even know who they are.

Or they start stalking you Marry them they really love you

I would wonder why they were so upset if I was just one of many good prospects. I would figure that they were probably lying, shrug it off, and move on.

Somethng like that happened to me once and I took it really bad, kind of started pleading with them and stuff and then crying. I was a mess :(
