He could be a cannibal and wished the meat he'd ordered was Human, thus lost his appetite upon seeing it wasn't.

I have no idea but I can state without a doubt I have no issues with eating when hungry regardless of who I'm with. It's just if I'm on a first date I'll probably say we should go get something like sushi instead of something like chicken wings where I'll end up looking like a messy pig haha.

I don't get nervous but people I've been out with commented that I didn't order meat, just had a salad, or skipped a starter or dessert. The main reason is that if you don't know how the evening is going to end, you don't want to feel queasy from a full stomach. Plus, I don't like to eat a lot of food in one go, anyway.

If I get over the initial panic of talking to them, then no, eating in front of them won't be much problem, tho I'll probably refrain from eating like a medieval...

An ex boyfriend of mine who was so nervous when he was with me that he could hardly eat anything, especially fizzy drinks. We were twenty years old, give or take a year or two. I only discovered this fact when I spoke to him again many years later.

Once when I was young I went to a Burger Joint with a girl and said "Get what ever you want" I always wanted to say that. She ordered I and I knew I didn't have enough money to buy anything for myself. Hahahahhaahhahaa, dumb right??
