Should I stay?

Should I still give genuine advice and care to the person whose been hurt by his ex? Knowing that I’m already falling for him?

Careful...ever heard of patients falling in love with their doctors or Therapists? Mental/emotional and/or physical care is an intensely intimate and personal thing between the giver and the recipient. Intense feelings can and do develop and they are often mistaken for "love". There isn't a lot of difference in what you say you have been doing...just a word to the wise.

The thing is eventhough I know that it’s complicated and that I should keep my distance I cant take it when I know he’s hurting. It seems like I feel like I have to protect him and I should be beside him. 😞@indyjoe]

@ImPurple It's okay to be there for your friend...I'm just saying to be aware of your own feelings toward him because you may end up finding yourself hurt.

That if we are together we tend to be clingy. Seems like we became the “escape” for each other.@indyjoe

Keep the distance. Don't be just a source of distraction for him. Hope you get what I mean.

Maybe he’s just lonely right? @Reflection2

@ImPurple Lonely? Or may be addicted to have an attention of gender he feels attracted too. Don't he have male friends? If no? He has problems. My opinion.
