Why for the oldest child does it seem a family divorce is usually most difficult?

Not for me. I’m the oldest and I prayed every night they would get divorced. Finally on Christmas Day when I was 9 my father told me they were getting divorced. I asked him when he was moving out.

Don’t let your parents divorce affect your happiness in life. Don’t dwell on it. You have to remember that a lot of people have divorced parents. This is nothing new. It’s a small part of your life in the grand scheme of things.@SW-User

It is.
Even so, my daughters, the two I share with my Ex wife, demanded me to end with her mother and take them with me.
