Have you ever fallen in love with someone that is/was in a committed relationship?

AbbeyRhode · F
Never. If a man was even dating anyone else, he was off-limits to me.
KaiserSolze · 46-50, F
@AbbeyRhode that's what I always said. They can be off limits but I found out I can still feel. Feelings don't have to be acted on or spoken of.

@KaiserSolze True, but I wouldn't allow that. If a man was spoken for, he was automatically filed under the same category as a brother. I could be polite, even friendly, but no more.

No and I would not

Yes. When I was in college, I had a friend I met when I joined another friend's D&D group. I walked into the room, saw her and thought to myself, "My god, she's beautiful. My god, I'm in love. My god, I'll bet she's married." And of course she was, with two small children.

Still, we became good friends and I put those feelings aside. Eventually, though, things kind of came through. It was a disaster. It was a tough time for a lot of reasons — most of them not connected to me.

Some years later, I happened to get a job at the same place where my friend worked. We hadn't spoken to each other in years, and it was a happy reunion. We're still good friends today.
No. Never. Waste of time and emotion.

To my wife.
She was married.
With me.
But she never returned me the courtesy.
So, after some decades and since 18 years ago, she is my Ex.
I dont "fall in love" . Love is a choice. I would never do that to myself. Well maybe if i was bored :?
