Do you consider it a red flag when a new acquaintance can't stop telling you how honest they are ?

Is that something you have to say 5,000 times because you really ARE honest or because you're trying to hide the fact you're dishonest? 🤔

Hmm usually honesty speaks for itself and doesn’t need to be announced that many times lol. I def consider it a red flag if people keep ‘boasting’ about a good trait they claim they have.

@kimmy159 Bingo!!!

Yes they should not need to explain it sooo much but actually put it in action

@Anonymouslyyours86 I imagine that's real in real life, but if when a person makes contact virtually, how does one measure the action?

How they explain themselves but that is tough sometimes @SW-User

Honest people don’t have to beat the drums of their honesty. It’s usually the dishonest one who always keep going on about how honest they are.

@SW-User Spot on!!

If someone has to explain their virtues, then it probably isn't one...🤔
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@SW-User many virtues aren't intrinsic to the person who possesses them, they are a by-product of how they influence others; i.e. an honest person proves their honesty to others, not talk about how honest they are...
SW-User
@wildbill83 Okay. Not going on the metric of that. Some people don't have people to talk to and the idea of others would become nonsense

@wildbill83 Agree.

that would be so weird to me that id start getting suspicious
