My friend’s guy friend lied to her about me and it upset me. Due to this I cancelled a movie plan and she was pisssd with me

I felt that she was trusting him blindly and I even had proof to show her that he was lying.
I quit the whatsapp group that I was part of as well.
Have I done anything wrong? My mood was off and I did not feel like going for the movie. She was pissed with me for that

Thanks. You know I don’t have anyone in the real world to share this with. It might not sound petty but it upset me and it’s 1:20 am where I’m from and I’m losing sleep over it :(
