Have you read The 5 Love Languages?

What’s your Love Language?

Mine is Physical Touch, shocking I know! As well as Quality Time 😏😁

I highly recommend reading this.

Yeah... physical touch here too. Then quality time.

It's kind of a curse. Why couldn't I just like gifts and the occasional affirming word? 😀

Agreed. 😊. @RealtaReoite

Hey I learned a long time ago, the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. I make some great meals. 😊. @RealtaReoite

I have read the 5 Love Languages. My number one "love" is physical touch followed by words of affirmation.
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
Good 😊 @SweetMae

I have read it.

My thoughts were “I want them all” lol.
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
I kinda felt that way too. But Physical Touch definately stands out the most. @HeavenBesideYou

@Jeephikelove Same. I could probably put them in order of importance, really, but I still want them all. 🤷‍♀️

Yes... great book and it's easy to apply the concepts in your relationships and see some significant and almost immediate results. My primary love language is physical touch, but close behind in second place is words of affirmation.
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
Oh absolutely, I think all of us have at least 2. 😊. @ms20182878

Yes, a super book.
We'd been married for 20+ years and it still gave me some fresh insights into my wife's needs.
My top two are physical touch and acts of service.
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
That’s great!! Every couple should read it. @daydeeo

Mine being gifts makes me sound so greedy 😂
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
No, if that’s what you need that’s what you need. 😊@SW-User
Smokey · 46-50, M

Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
That’s fun too, but it’s nice to know how your love tank can be filled.@Smokey
Smokey · 46-50, M
@Jeephikelove that is true

Sometimes I just want support
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
For sure! We all do. 😊@ItsGonnaBeOk
Words of affirmation here.
melbeacher · 56-60, M
Physical touch for me too.

Where can I read it?
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
I’m old fashion and prefer paper books but it’s available as an e-book. 😊 @SW-User
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
I tried. I could not get through it. I really felt like. These were basic things people should learn about their partner and why did a book have to be written to tell people that their partners have different needs than they do? Lol. I might be bitter.
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
True, yes agreed, but so many people seem to lack the basic foundation to have this common sense. Myself very much included in that. @JaggedLittlePill
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@JaggedLittlePill One thing that stood out to me is how he two people can love each other, and even be demonstrating their love for each other, but since they speak different love languages, their efforts go unnoticed or unappreciated.
That was revolutionary to me.
