What are some of the red flags and signs of potential cheating?

They suddenly start working late and get defensive if you ask what they were doing.
They suddenly start hiding things from you, and dodge the question if you ask what’s wrong.
They’re making excuses to stay away from you, but still have time for everyone else.

Granted, these can also be signs of other things, but they’re still good indicators that something is wrong.

The first and most prominent sign is they stop wanting to be intimate with you. But another sign is a sudden change in normal behaviors, and also immediately jumping into the shower every time they come home (if this wasn't part of their normal behavior already). I know this because it's what happened to me in my first marriage.

In this day and age, watch their smart phone behavior.

If they start getting real possessive about it, deleting texts, taking calls in another room, getting real paranoid about you seeing their phone that is a large red flag.
