Just wondering...

I really would like to have a close friend/friend irl, one I could hang out with casually and build a relationship with. I am too shy to make friends at this point in my life. I’m currently 22 going on 23 and I’m worried I’m running out of time to build those close bonds friends have. I see a lot of people have been friends since they were younger, in high school, or college. I guess my question would be, has anyone been really good friends with someone they met later in life? Sorry if this is dramatic.

my older sister has always been the type to make new friends and lose contact with ones that she didn't see as worthy. she's currently 23 and her closest friends are all from different times in her life. Some are from only the past year or so, so you'll be fine :)

It's good question. I have met people later in life that i have been short term friends with but they seem to move on once they get into a relationship.

Same lol it’s easy to make friends but it’s not fun when they live an hour away and have different schedules
