Is it weird that I don't feel like talking to my crush?

I would think that since I have a crush on a person, I would want to reply their texts like super fast (I don't really play games so I normally would). But my crush just texted me and I just don't feel like having a conversation right now, so I didn't reply. I dunno, like maybe a part of me just doesn't want to get hurt and is trying to condition me or smth? But idk why I don't feel like texting my crush back. Not right now anyway.

I often do not want to talk so do not answer my phone.No big deal really. A text along the lines of, "Can we chat later, a bit tired at the moment"
After all.You two are an item, and simply ignore your crush may worry them?

@Gusman well, no we're not an item, cuz idk if my crush likes me back, although I do suspect that the answer is yes due to the constant texts. My crush merely commented on something I'd posted so it's not really a conversation starter. at the moment i'm texting other people back, but i just dont feel like talking to my crush cuz it'll take a bit of effort an make me anxious

Yeah I do the same thing.
I have avoidancy problems because of fear, I don't know but that might be why or maybe your more introverted and prefer more alone time.

@SW-User Sometimes I just feel a bit anxious talking to my crush. I feel like I might be a bit tired of feeling that way
