What are your most important rules when going on a date?

Always let someone, (such as a family member or good friend), know who you are going out with, and where you are going and when you expect to be back.

If you have invited someone out, you pay for the date. If they have invited you, they may pay for the date. (Personally, if I am taken out for dinner and I know I will never go out with the guy again, I pay for the dinner anyway).

Never get into someone's car and allow them to drive you if you don't know them very well. I did that once. I looked down and saw at least four prescription bottles in the dash cubby, and the guy driving was all over the road.

Always have a backup plan on how to get home if your date is too drunk to drive, (and a plan on how to get HIM home). I once went out with a former friend from high school, and he got stinking drunk, and then refused to let me drive home. He abandoned me at 2 a.m. in downtown Boston.

Brush your teeth, use deodorant, wear clean clothes, and make sure you have enough money to pay for your meal, as well as a taxi/Uber/Lyft if things go south. And make sure that a friend, or family member knows where you are going-and with who.

I go to my own home after dinner..

I wear a proper dress that is sexy enough to show me as a woman and be respectful enough to show that I'm a respected woman..

In the old days ladies used to stuff themselves on food before going on a posh date so that when they dined out they would be comfortable enough just to nibble, making themselves look demure and such 😂 🐷
