Have you ever fallen deeply in love with someone , but so want it to work out

But realistically you know there is a high possibility that it will not work out ?

i was engaged and in love a few years ago. it would have worked out, but i was an asshole and screwed it up. i wanted it to work out, but you can only hurt someone so much before they get tired of it. thankfully, i have seen the error of my ways.

@Wishingwellguy i treated her badly sometimes (not all the time), and i did cheat on her. so, i did screw it up pretty well. we have both moved on, and have managed to stay friends.
