Do you switchtrack?

I try my hardest not to.
Switch Tracking is a pattern in conversations where one person’s reaction to feedback from the other changes the topic of conversation. Two people having a conversation start to talk about two different things. The concept of Switch Tracking was recently considered on NPR’s Podcast “The Hidden Brain”.

@Ipleadthe5th oh so people who talk politics changing the issue to something totally different to avoid topic initially being discussed would be switch tracking?
Yes. I guess. 🤔 not sure if it’s more specific with personal feedback or not. ?
