What does this mean ?

So I live in an accommodation where I meet this woman on a regular and we say hi and have a small chat.

I accidentally pissed her off by saying something even though my interpretation is not offensive at all. Anyways things kept going and she tries from to time to say the same thing that I told her but it never bothers me because it’s not bad.

Anyways I’m not sure what’s going but one time I was sitting she came and said it’s : hot in this room but I’ll be back and she went downstairs and sat there.

Was she trying to see if I would start wondering why she never came back and chase her ?

I’m pretty sure she said that intentionally as we have been chatting for a while and I know how she thinks.
